Joannie Rochette is a young 24 year old skater has been very lucky throughout his sporting career; always ends in the group of the best, last year was second in the world, fifth in Turin 2006 . But the time has come now: competing in the final week of the Olympics held in his native Canada and which has serious potential. Peeeeeeeeeero
it no matter what, even if you win, what will not remember this, but his mother died of a sudden 30 hours before the start of their competition. Joannie
was awakened by her coach and her father at 6:00 AM on Sunday to receive the worst news of his short life. I would have died and I had gone home, you too, like your neighbor.
But she did not.
6 hours I was training, super concentrated and his own. Inside
absolutely shattered, but that's the real athlete, strong physically and psychologically.
all waited anxiously to see her compete in the short program and was ... of the most exciting moments I've ever seen on television.
When the program ended (which was perfect ) Joannie collapsed, I broke down, the entire audience and even collapsed Paloma River live cried, unheard of in his 24 year career as a commentator. Tonight
more of the same I guess, is third time but whatever you do cry and in my opinion with what he has done and deserves a medal of merit.
