Yesterday º four premiere of "Gossip Girl."
I am very glad that FINALLY the've ever seen and I've been listening to the last 2 years of my life that this series is great.
Many believe it is the worthy successor to "The OC" (in fact share writers and creators).
Well, I will give my opinion:
- The pilot episode of "Gossip Girl" is far worse, although the second hitch with the same force as "The OC"
- At the moment, the characters do not have half the charisma that the series of 2003.
- The players selected are not as good, while in "The OC" I put Ryan, Seth, Jhonny, Sandy, Jimmy, Luke, Zack and Kevin (I remember), in " Gossip Girl "I just like Dan and his brother
- The actresses chosen are girls on the street which makes Serena is a mixture Britney and Elisabeth the "Popstars" Blair is prettier (but only at parties), the mother of Serena is jorribol and Jenny is great but you have to get more out.
In contrast, in "The OC" had one of the 10 most beautiful faces in the world: Mischa Barton (aka Marissa ), the prettiest bad mother / charismatic history (Julie Cooper Nichol Roberts Atwood ), a high school that everyone likes funny (Summer ), the perfect mother (Kirsten ) to Anna, Teresa, Alex, Kaitlin, ...
- The truth is that although it hurts me to say, it seems more realistic "Gossip Girl" to "The OC", sometimes sinned innocent.
- Music is another important factor in both series, "Gossip Girl" manages to equal its predecessor in this respect, making good music and at the right time.
know I probably should not say much or compare both series and I've only seen 2 episodes of "Gossip Girl", but for now these are my impressions. I am sure that more and more I'll like this series, but never equal to "The OC" for the simple reason that I am not teenager .... sorry to say, but "Gossip Girl" is for the generation after mine, so is @ s chic @ s of 15 years fall in love with the characters like I fell in love with "The OC" when I was your age.
